- ab 1813 Sänger in London, ab 1815 erster Tenor am Drury Lane Theatre, für das er viele Bühnenmusiken und Opern schrieb (u. a. 1826 einen Konkurrenz-Oberon, Text: G. MacFarren), sang am Drury Lane Theatre u. a. 1825 den Max (Adolph) im Freischütz
